Mary Jane Trahan

Mary Jane Trahan, 91, of Newport died Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Village House Nursing Home in Newport, RI. Mrs. Trahan was born September 20, 1925 in Cumberland, RI; she is the daughter of the late Wilfred and Edna (Dupris) Pontbriant. She was married to the late Raymond Trahan. She is survived by her siblings Irene Bonin, Armand Pontbriant and his wife Irene of Cumberland, RI, Gerald Pontbriant of Central Falls, RI, Ellen Fugere of Lincoln, RI and children Janet Almeida and her husband Doug of Portsmouth, RI and Paul Trahan and his wife Kathy of Smithfield, RI. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Alissa and her husband Eric Yngve from Easton, MA, Hollie and her husband Matthew Fines from Matthews, NC, Mary Almeida and Brendan Solecki of Easton, MA, Jason and Beth Trahan of Cranston, RI and Jared and Lauren Trahan of Smithfield, RI. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Sadie Yngve, Mason and Hailey Fines, Zachary, Jake and Angelise Trahan and Joshua and Melody Trahan.
