Allen Stephen Lokey

Allen Stephen Lokey, MSCM, USN, ret., age 60 of 5 Namquid Drive, Middletown, RI, died Saturday July 27, 2002 in the Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. He was the husband of Tazuko Osawa Lokey.Born July 24, 1942 in Mobile, AL, he was the son of the late Allen Zane and the late Mary E. Zane.A Vietnam veteran, Mr. Lokey served in the US Navy for 25 years before retiring in 1986 as a master chief. He later worked in federal civil service until 1998.He was a member of St. Pauls Masonic Lodge, Middletown.In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Carl A. Lokey of Newport, RI and Ken A. Lokey of Portsmouth, RI, and one granddaughter, Emma Rose Lokey of Portsmouth, RI. He was the father of the late Paul A. Lokey.Funeral services are private.
