Anne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, whose greatest joy was her family. As the wife of a Navy serviceman, she was often called upon to run the household and raise her children while Jack was away. She did so with love, patience, strength, and gladness, creating a home where her children always knew they were loved.
Anne never met a phrase that couldn't be turned into a song. She loved to sing, especially in the car, and filled the many family trips-near and far-with music. From a young age, she taught her children to respect and support others and to never tease or use words that might hurt someone. Those lessons stayed with her family throughout their lives.
For many years, Anne and Jack were full-time campers, traveling up and down the East Coast and enjoying the local flavor of the many places they visited. They embraced the adventure, the people they met, and the simple pleasure of being together, especially square dancing in Woodbine, GA. Anne especially loved family time filled with good food, laughter, dancing, and, of course, music.
Anne was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 64 years, Jack A. Wolfe, and their first son, Jack A. Wolfe, Jr.
She leaves behind six children: Karen Severeide (Larry) of Billings, MT; Corrine Rocha (Stephen) of Tiverton, RI; Kathy Konopka of Somersworth, NH; Jacklynn Wolfe of Northbridge, MA; Lisa Lacerda (Fran) of Portsmouth, RI; and Michael Wolfe (Amanda) of Lancaster, NH. She also leaves 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
Anne was the last surviving sibling of 12 children. She will be lovingly remembered as one of "The Three Musketeers," a special bond shared with her sisters that remained meaningful throughout her life.
She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Florida (Levesque) LeBlanc and was preceded in death by her siblings George Barrates, Antoinette Fournier, Julia Paul, Gloria Lamarre, Doris Gray, Felix LeBlanc, Gene LeBlanc, Albert LeBlanc, Anthony LeBlanc, Norman LeBlanc and Gerard LeBlanc
Anne's life was defined by love-for her husband, her children, her extended family, and the many people whose lives she touched. Her music, laughter, wisdom, and unwavering kindness will live on in the generations she leaves behind. She will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by so many.
Anne will be interred with her late husband at Jacksonville National Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date in Lancaster, NH.
