Arlene Denno

Arlene Denno, 94, of Newport died Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Village House Nursing Home of Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late Robert C. Denno.Born on August 6, 1922 in Athol, MA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. Harper and Laura (Whitney) Harper. Arlene was a member of the 4-H and the Grange in Rutland, Vermont. She was a sales clerk at Ann Hope. She is survived by her daughters Jean Fredette of Portsmouth, RI and Joyce Pentowski of East Clarendon, VT, her sons , Bernard Henry Doty Jr. of East Clarendon, VT and Richard Allen Doty of Lexington, NC, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.She was the mother of the late Robert Lawrence Doty.
