Arthur George Smith Iii

Arthur G. Smith III, age 52, of Newport, Rhode Island, passed away on November 26, 2018.Known to some as Buddy Or Bubba, Arthur was born in Philadelphia, PA to Carmen Smith and the late Arthur G. Smith Jr.

Arthur was a Corporal in the Marine Corps. While serving in the marines Arthur was awarded the rifle expert badge, meritorious mast, meritorious unit commendation, Certificate of Commendation, and Good Conduct Medal. He was also part of the American Legion in Newport, Rhode Island. Arthur was an avid sports fan and loved taking his son to Professional Baseball games. He also liked cooking on the grill on hot summer days and spending time with his family.

Arthur is survived by his son Arthur G. Smith IV, his mother Carmen Smith, his siblings Susan M. Smith, Victoria Smith, George Patton Smith. Arthur also leaves behind many loved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Arthur G. Smith Jr.
