Azul James Powers, only 9 months old, of Newport died Tuesday, November 15, 2017, at Hasbro Childrens Hospital in Providence, RI. Azul was born February 11, 2017, in Wakefield, RI, the son of Andrio Rodriguez and Carolanne Powers. Besides his parents, he is survived by his grandfather Lawrence Weldon of Newport, his grandmothers Kelly Powers of Newport and Ann Rodriguez of Philadelphia, his great grandfather, Kevin Powers and his wife Irene of Wakefield, his brothers Gian-Vani of Newport and Sylus Rodriguez of Tiverton, his aunts Kiara Noka of Newport, Nekisha Kuiee and Kevana Kuiee, both of Providence, his uncles Corey Weldon of Newport and Darren Weldon of Providence, many other aunts and uncles along with many cousins. He also leaves his godmother Savannah Evans.Calling hours will be Tuesday, November 21, 2017, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, at the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.His funeral will be held after the calling hours at 1:00pm on Tuesday in the funeral home.
