Barbara A. Prioli

Barbara A. Prioli, 80, of Portsmouth, RI and East Falmouth, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 5, 2016 with her family and friends at her side.She was the wife of the late James A. Prioli and the late Joseph T. Daley.Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Lynn) Walsh.Barbara grew-up in South Boston and the "Southie girl" was very proud of her Irish heritage. She was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan. With an infectious laugh, she was the life of any party. Barbara loved the ocean and the beach, and cherished her time spent on Cape Cod.She is survived by her daughter, Donna Daley and her husband, John Flynn, of Portsmouth, RI; her grandchildren, Victoria Carruba, Jaime Perkins and Shannon Craig; her sister, Margaret Bingel of Norton, MA; her brother-in-law, Kenneth Daley of Arizona; several nieces and nephews; and many lifelong friends.She was predeceased by her brothers, Robert Walsh, Jr., and James and Thomas Walsh, and her sister, Eleanor Dunn.Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. in Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. in St. Anthony's Church, 167 East Falmouth Hwy., East Falmouth, MA. Burial will follow in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
