Barry S. Moniz

Atlanta, GA - Barry S. Moniz, 62, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015 at home. Born in Providence, RI on August 20, 1952, he was the son of the late Linda L. (Hilderbrand) Moniz.Barry was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.He is survived by his brothers and sister, John Moniz of East Providence, RI, Michael "Mickey" Moniz of Attleboro, MA, Ronald Moniz of Middletown, RI, and Lynne M. Moniz of Warren, RI; and five nephews and nieces, Michael, Aaron and Derek Moniz, Shanemarie Vaughn and Lori Budz. He was the brother of the late Wayne Moniz.Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 5:30 - 6:00 pm in Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI, with a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
