Beatrice Cabral

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Beatrice Cabral, who left us peacefully on August 8, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on February 27, 1943, in Fall River, MA, Beatrice lived a life full of love, laughter, and cherished moments, ultimately making her home in Newport, RI.

Beatrice dedicated herself to the nurturing of children as a self-employed child care provider, touching the lives of many families along the way. She was known not only for her caring heart but also for her vibrant spirit and zest for life. Beatrice adored the simple pleasures, finding joy in a spirited game of bingo or a night spent playing cards with friends and family. Her love for fine dining brought her many memorable evenings filled with good food and even better company.

Beatrice is survived by her brothers, Ernest and Peter Cabral, and her sisters, Patricia Dunbar and Mary Ciocca. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Marino and Anna Cabral, and her siblings, Joseph Cabral and Dorothy Ryan

In gratitude for their compassion and care, her family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of Village House, who provided Beatrice with kindness during her final years.

Funeral services for Beatrice will be private.

As we say goodbye to a wonderful sister, aunt, and friend, let us remember Beatrice for her laughter, love for the game, and her appreciation for the finer things in life. May she rest in peace.
