Billie Jo A. Burke, 50, of Warren, RI, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2018. Born in Glendale, CA, Billie Jo was the daughter of Michael A. and Nancy J. (Garrity) Burke of Portsmouth, RI. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Jane (Cece) Herren.Billi Jo attended Our Lady of Fatima School, Warren, RI, and the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. Billie Jo worked in the social services for many years.In addition to her parents and daughter, Billie Jo is survived by several aunts and uncles as well as numerous cousins.She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Thomas and Yvonne Garrity formerly of Fall River, MA, and her paternal grandparents Thomas and Dorothy Burke of Milwaukee, WI.A memorial service will be held in St. Mary's Church 330 Wood Street Bristol, RI, on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 10:00 AM.Burial will be privateMemorial donations can be made to Sisters of Mercy, Cumberland, RI or Beacon Hospice, RI.
