Brian G. Lipinski

Brian G. Lipinski, age 45, of Newport, died Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Newport Hospital after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. Brian was born August 6, 1970, in Pawtucket, RI, and soon thereafter adopted by the late Joseph and Claire (Connors) Lipinski, formerly of Locust Avenue, whom he would often describe as the best parents in the world. Brian was a graduate of Portsmouth High School and worked most recently for the Hodges Badge Company, who did so much to support him in the early stages of his MS. In his spare time he loved spending time with his friends and family and taking care of his pet snake and parakeets, Chipper and Dale. He was also an avid fan of NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, and the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. He liked to begin each day with a Dunkin Donuts coffee, extra cream and extra sugar, and a cruller donut. He also loved spicy food like Portuguese chourico, which often matched his disposition. He is survived by his sister, Karen Kosoff and her husband Keith, his nieces Mikaela and Jenna all of Portsmouth, RI and his brother TJ Lipinski and his wife Mindy, his nephews Logan and Kyle all of Fort Mill, SC.Calling hours will be Friday, July 1, 2016, from 4:00-7:00pm, at the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.His funeral will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at 10:00am, in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.
