Carmel C. Salafia

Carmel C. (Regine) Salafia, 88, of Singer Island FL and Middletown, RI, passed away peacefully on July 7.She was the wife of the late Joseph Salafia Sr.Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Celia (Zarella) Regine.She was a graduate of St. Xavier Academy and Edgewood Secretarial School. She worked for many years with her husband and family at Clarke Flowers in Providence.She is survived by her son Joseph Salafia Jr. and daughter-in-law Marlaine. She was the grandmother of Emily Delgado and her husband Angel and Joseph S. Salafia and his fiance Chelsea Gority. She was great-grandmother to Dean and baby Carmel. She is also survived by her brother Louis Regine. She was the sister of the late Victor "Bucky" Regine.Services will be private.In her memory, please send flowers to someone you love.
