Carol Ann Wilson was born July 18, 1937, in Newport Rhode Island. She was the first born child to the late Winfred L. and the late Frances B Hennessey.She attended St. Catherines Christian Academy. She spent her life serving the community on many Boards, including: Vice-Chairperson for the Title1 ESEA Program at the Joseph H. Gaudet Middle School, Chairperson for the Newport County Tenants Association, Recording Secretary for the Board of Newport County Volunteers, Social Worker for the Johnny Cake Center, Youth Coordinator for the Minority Caucus and Advisory Board, and a board member of the Newport Residents Council. She was always willing to lend a helping hand at the Soup kitchens.Carol was the wife of the late Horace D. Wilson, from Richmond, MO. She leaves two brothers; Winfed L. Hennessey Jr. and his wife Thea, of Newport, RI, Robert Hennessey and his wife Norma, of Hercules, CA. She also leaves three sons; Charles Wilson of College Station, TX, Donald M. Wilson and his wife Sandra, of Newport, RI and Robert Wilson , of Worcester, MA, three daughters; Linda Palmer and her husband James, of Middletown, RI, Cheryl Elam, of Jacksonville, Fl, and Loucille Prevost and her husband Nathaniel of Port Arthur, TX. She also leaves behind a sister in law Daisy Robinson of Rialto, CA, and was blessed with 14 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, cousins and many nieces and nephews, God-Children and loving friends.The family would like to extend their love and appreciation for all the prayers and support in their time of need.
