Carolyn Emma Gutro

Portsmouth, - Carolyn ?Gramma? Brown Gutro, 86, of 54 Silva Avenue Portsmouth, formerly of Malden, Massachusetts, died Monday, March 31, 2003 at Grand Islander Health Care Center Middletown, RI.She was the wife of the late John L. Gutro. Born in Portland, ME on August 19, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Calvin S. and Helena Vickory Brown.Mrs. Gutro was an avid bingo player. She is survived by two sons Manuel J. Oliver III of Culver City, CA, and Clifford A. Ames of Gardina, CA, her daughter Elaine M. Tobben of Portsmouth, RI, her brother Donald S. Brown of Malden, MA, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two Great-great grandchildren. Her funeral and burial will be private. Arrangements are by the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth.
