Catharine Hansell Forbes Ward

Catharine Hansell (Forbes) Ward, 76, of Middletown, formerly of Wayne, PA, died Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at John Clarke Health Care Center in Middletown, RI. Catharine was born on October 23, 1940 in Bryn Mawr, PA.She is the daughter of the late William Innes Forbes Jr. and the late Catharine Hansell (Patterson) Forbes. Hansie, as she was known by her friends and family, was a graduate of Rosemont College and received her Masters' Degree in Education from Florida Atlantic University.She is survived by her daughter Catharine Hansell Benzak and her husband Chris Benzak of Newport, RI, and three grandchildren, granddaughters Bailey Forbes and Peppin Wright and grandson Charles Louis. She also leaves two sisters, Daisy Forbes Wanamaker of Westchester, PA and Frances Forbes and a brother, Dr. William Innes Forbes III of Evan Mills, NY.
