Catherine Case Pinheiro

Catherine C. Pinheiro, 76. Of Newport RI, passed away peacefully on September 29,2018 at Newport Hospital. Catherine was born September 19, 1942 in Newport RI, the daughter of the late Alfred and Lilian (Morgan) Edward.
She is survived by her six children, Joseph Pinheiro, Eileen Pribula, John Pinheiro and his wife Missy, Bobby Pinheiro, Jean (Puerini) Waluk and her husband Dave and Susan Pinheiro.
She also leaves behind her siblings, Alfred Edward and his wife Lynn, Charlie Edward and his wife Marion, and Andrea Creaney and her husband Bob. She is predeceased by her brothers Palmer Wald and Michael Edward.
She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Lindsey Pribula, Daniel Pinheiro, Brittany Barlow, Owen and Ida Puerini, Jenna Pinheiro and May Waluk, as well as her great grandchildren, Charleigh and Max.
Over the years Catherine worked too many jobs to list them all but a few that stood out were GE, The Greenhouse, John Clarke Retirement Center, Seaview Motel, and almost 20 years at Shaws in Middletown RI.
After retiring from Shaws[i] she enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and spending time with her cats, but her favorite thing to do was to spend time with Brittany and Lindsey who were her best friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
