Charles Leroy Bruen Jr

Charles Leroy Bruen Jr., 41, of 745 Union Street Portsmouth, died Thursday, August 29, 2002 at Rhode Island Hospital Providence, RI. Born in Hudson, MA on June 2, 1961, he was the son of Charles L. Bruen Sr. of Brookfield, MA, and Kathryn Gove Bruen of Newport, RI.Mr. Bruen worked as a landscaper for John Elshant Landscaping Company. Mr. Bruen lived and grew up in Spencer, Massachusetts. He was an artist, working with oil paints and a photographer. He loved to fish and hunt and rode his bike all over the country. He is survived by his father Charles L. Bruen Sr. of Brookfield, MA, his mother Kathryn Bruen of Newport, RI, his step mother Georgianna Bruen of Brookfield, MA, his brother Robert Bruen of Newport, RI, five sisters Bonnie Jean Bruen of Worcester, MA, Donna McManus of Ringgold, GA, Laurie Cyphers of Rochester, NH, Wendie Bush of Newport, RI, Sherry Holloway of Rochester, NH, eight nieces and nephews and one great nephew. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2002, at 7:00 PM in the Calvary Baptist Church, 4 Ludlow Terrace, Middletown. Burial will be private.Arrangements are by the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth.
