Clifford Edward Brown

Clifford Edward Brown, 85, of Middletown, RI, husband of the late Sadie E Brown died Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Newport Hospital. Clifford was born June 20, 1932 in Richmond, VA and was the son of the late Clifford and Gertrude (Smith) Brown. Clifford was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam War.Mr. Brown is survived by his son Clifford Brown III and his wife Robin of Middletown, RI, and two daughters: Sherri Brown-Chapman and her husband James D. Chapman Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, and Gina Brown of Middletown, RI. He also leaves behind his sister, Loretta Brown of Richmond, VA, his favorite niece Linda Hill-Robinson also of Richmond, VA, and three grandchildren Myles, Michael and Maya Chapman.Services were held at Community Baptist Church followed by burial in Newport Memorial Park.
