Concetta (Scotti) Foster Walsh, 97 passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the Grand Island Health Care Center in Middletown, RI. She was the wife of the late Edward F. Foster and the late David I. Walsh. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Eugenio and Maria (Caminiti) Scotti, and she grew up in Providence.Connies first love, music and opera, led her to study voice and perform in numerous operas, operettas, musical theater productions and church communities in Rhode Island and New York City during the 1950s and 1960s. In addition, she gave voice lessons into the early 1970s.Following the death of her husband Edward Foster, she began a successful career in real estate. As an active member of the Rhode Island Chapter of the Womens Council of Realtors, she contributed her time and talents, serving in many capacities. In 1976, she was elected president of the chapter, and in 1979 was appointed Governor of the Board of the Womens Council.She leaves her daughter, Eugenie A. and her husband Dr. Walter Sepe of Portsmouth, her son Bruce E. Foster and his wife Lan of East Longmeadow, MA; 3 grandchildren, Jessica Allen (Brock) of Barrington, Meghan Sepe of Middletown, and Brett Foster (Mila) of Florida, as well as three great grandchildren.Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 10:00am in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick, RI.
