It is with heartfelt remembrance that we celebrate the life of Constance B. Briosi, who departed from this world on May 5, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on July 7, 1934, in Fall River, Massachusetts, she brought joy and warmth to everyone who knew her.
Constance was a proud graduate of Durfee High School, after which she dedicated her career to serving as a secretary in the insurance industry, holding positions at GMAC Finance in Miami and John Hancock Insurance Company. It was at Lincoln Park, during her youthful days, where she met her beloved husband, Mario Briosi, while he served in the Navy—a meeting that marked the beginning of a beautiful chapter in her life!
A devoted member of St. Anthony's Church, Constance was active in her community, volunteering her time at the Portsmouth Senior Center for many years. She often participated in the St. Barnabas Bake Sale, delighting others with her culinary creations. Her kindness and generosity left a lasting impression, ensuring that she was well-loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Constance is survived by her cherished son, Michael Briosi, who carries on her remarkable legacy of compassion and joy. She also leaves behind Aracelia Briosi, her daughter-in-law, who will forever cherish the fond memories imprinted in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mario Briosi; and her parents, Ralph and Celanire Bouchard.
A Memorial Mass will be held in her honor at St. Anthony's Church on May 17, 2025, at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Portsmouth Senior Center.
As we remember Constance B. Briosi, let us carry forward her spirit of kindness and her love for family and friends. She will be profoundly missed, but her legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
