Mrs. Constance E. (Gonsalves) Silvia, 79, of Portsmouth, RI, passed away on February 28, 2019 at Warren Skilled Nursing Home.
Constance was born in Newport, RI to Manuel and Bella Gonsalves. She was the wife of the late William Silvia Sr. She lived for many years on Water Street in Portsmouth where she raised her family. She is survived by two sons, William A. Silvia Jr. of Portsmouth and Ronald J. Silvia of Middletown, and two grandchidlren, Ryan and Annmarie Silvia. She also leaves her sisters Ann Budlong of Middletown, Mary Souza and Agnes White, both of Fall River, a brother Anthony Gonsalves, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister Loretta Aguiar and brother James Gonsalves.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth.
