Constant A. Williams, 88, of Middletown died Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Charlton Memorial Hospital of Fall River, MA. Born on September 8, 1928 in Newport, RI, he was the son of the late Leroy and Laura (Hunter) Williams. Mr. Williams was a graduate of Rogers High School and RI School of Design. He worked as an engineer at Raytheon for 30 plus years before retiring. He was an avid Jazz Guitarist and his talents were enjoyed by many at his many appearances around Newport. He acquired a faithful following from his many summers spent playing at the Trattoria Simpatico in Jamestown. Predeceased by his wife, Annie Williams, his parents and eight brothers and sisters.He is survived by his children, David Williams of Middletown, CT and Kim Boulden and her husband Leo of Richmond, VA, two grandchildren, Chelsey Boulden of Durham, NC and Kellen Boulden of Richmond VA.He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews to whom he was very close and loved dearly. He was the patriarch of the family and will be sorely missed. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00PM at the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.His service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2017, at 11am in the Community Baptist Church, 50 Dr. Marcus F.
