Daniel Arthur Sowers

Daniel Arthur Sowers, 78, of Newport, RI passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Newport Hospital. Daniel was born June 15, 1938 in Schenectady, NY. He is the son of the late Daniel and the late Alice (Travers) Sowers. He was the husband of Mary (Souza) Sowers. Besides his wife, his is survived by his sons, Richard Sowers of Newport, RI and Daniel Sowers of Rockland, MA. He leaves 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.Daniel is predeceased by his late brothers, Jimmy Sowers and Richard Sowers.He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was loved by everybody that he knew.
