Deborah Christine Nunes, 66, of Newport died on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Newport Hospital. Debbie was born November 19, 1951 in Newport, RI, the daughter of the late Manuel A. Nunes and Elsie (Taylor) Nunes. Debbie worked for several years at as an administrative assistant in the engineering department at Naval Station Newport.She is survived by a sister Susan Nunes of Atlanta, GA and a brother Christopher Nunes of White Plains, NY and many extended family and friends.A burial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 13 at St. Columba Cemetery Chapel, 465 Browns Lane, Middletown.
