Middletown, RI - Deborah L (Vierra) Williams, 64, of Middletown, RI, died Monday, May 5, 2014 surrounded by her family at Newport Hospital. She was the wife of Richard Williams. Born in Newport, RI on November 19, 1949, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary L. (Coggeshall) Vierra. Mrs. Williams loved her family and her community. She was a very dedicated volunteer at the Martin Luther King Center here in Newport; nothing could keep her from her volunteer responsibilities at the center. She loved interacting with the many members of the community. The most important things in her life, were her children, her husband, and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her volunteer work. She will be missed by all that knew her.Besides her husband of 26 years, she is survived by her children, Tina Lee, of Newport, Christopher Vierra, of Newport and Richard Loe of Newport. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Saturday May 10, 2014, from 6-8pm in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport RI.
