Donald P Boucher, age 56, of Newport, passed away on May 7, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Esther (Sowalsky) Boucher

Born in New Bedford, MA he was the son of the late Joseph and Eugenie Boucher

Besides his wife he leaves his children LoraDearingand her husband Michael of Plano, TX, RebeccaGaunaand her husband Louie of Albuquerque, NM, MelissaFoglesongof Cincinnati, OH, David Boucher and his wife Abby of Oak Hill, VA, Brian Boucher and his wife Gabby of Atwater, CA, John Boucher, of Newport, Daniel Boucher and his wife Jane currently serving in South Korea, Deborah, Timothy, Emily, Angelina, and Giadaall of Newport, along with his cherished grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Don was the brother of Joan Martin of Fall River, MA, Paul Boucher of New Bedford, MA, Rene Boucher of Hayward, CA and Simone Costa of Dartmouth, MA, he was the son-in-law of RodneySowalskie.

He was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Boucher

Calling hours will be held Sunday, May 13, 2018 from 3:00PMto 7:00PMin the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.

Funeral Services will take place Monday, May 14, 218 at 10:30AM inCrosspointChurch, 14 Rhode Island Avenue, Newport, RI. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery in Bourne.
