Portsmouth, - Donna Gale Free Nelson, 51, of 726 Park Avenue, Portsmouth, died Saturday, December 20, 2008, at home.She was the husband of Robert Eugene Nelson.Donna was born in Newport, RI, on January 3, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Alice Bollin Free.Mrs. Nelson was a loving wife and homemaker.Besides her husband, she is survived by four brothers, Brian Free, Wayne Free and David Free all of Middletown, RI, and Herbert Free Jr. of Richmond, VA, a sister Cheryl Free of Jacksonville, FL and many nieces and nephews.Her funeral services will be private.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made be made in Donnas name to the Robert Potter League for Animals, P.O.
