Donna Marie Campagna, age 69, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT following a lengthy illness.
Donna was born March 13, 1949 in Newport RI, the cherished daughter of late Salvatore Campagna and Mary (Perry) Campagna.
She was raised in Newport and Middletown and was a graduate of St. Catherines Academy. After graduation, she attended Kathleen Gibbs School and worked at Hospital Trust Bank. She later relocated to Connecticut.
Donna is survived by her sister Margaret Marge Shepard and her husband Warren Shepard of Brockton, MA; her niece Beth Ann Viola and her husband Michael McAdams of Arlington, VA, Her niece Karen Silverleib and her daughter Abigail Mary of North Easton, MA, and her nephew and godson Jason Shepard and his wife Melissa (Cardone) and their twins Anthony and Giuliana also of North Easton, MA. She also leaves her good friend since they were 5 years old, Ann (Venancio) Ritchie of Middletown, RI.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 11:00am in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will follow at St. Columba Cemetery.
