In recent months his health began to decline, but he was dealing with the challenges bravely and continuing to engage in the enjoyable aspects of his days. On Sunday June 25 he suffered a stroke and lost consciousness. His loving wife, family, friends, Visiting Nurse Hospice employees, and friends from St. Mary's Episcopal Church all helped with his care from then until he died at home on Wednesday June 29, surrounded by people who loved him.In addition to his wife Mary Weyhing, he is survived by two nephews, John Joseph Seitz of Columbus, OH and Rick Seitz of Dayton, OH; and niece Mary Shelly, her husband Wayne, and their daughters Madeline and Allison of Dayton, OH.
