Eleanor R. Good

November 7, 1930 — May 18, 2026

Ellie was born November 7, 1930, in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of Calbraith Bourne Perry and Marie Léa Nicholson Perry.

She was a registered nurse, and a graduate of Trusdale Hospital. She worked for numerous agencies and hospitals in IN, PA, OH, WV and RI. She loved caring for people and found her greatest gift is caring for the dying. She worked as a Hospice nurse until she retired - in her 80's.

Ellie was a lifetime Episcopalian but started attending Calvary Temple Assembly of God in Fall River when she moved to RI.

She is survived by 1 son: James David Chase of Branson, MO and wife Melinda.

Ellie is survived by 4 daughters: Marie Léa Olton Fessler of Palmyra, NY and Ted; Jane Erskine Kuhlke of Beavercreek, OH and Karl, Martha Rebecca Medeiros of Bristol, RI and James; and Julia Anne Honious of Indianapolis, IN and Pete.

Her oldest son Nathaniel (Neal) Chase preceded her in death, and his wife Donna still lives in WV.

She is survived by 1 brother Matthew Calbraith Perry of Bristol RI/Maryland and Georgia.

She is preceded in death by her 4 sisters: Elizabeth Perry of Berwick, ME; Cecilia Perry of Bristol, RI; Emily Barrett of Mystic, CN; and Alicia Seavey of E. Greenwich, RI.

Elie re-married her high school sweetheart in 2003, Samuel Joseph Steen. Sam had 3 children from his first marriage; Patti Trinkle and Mike; Steve Steen and Jeannie; and Brian Steen. She was married to Sam for 5 years before he died.

Ellie re-married again in 2008 to a dear friend Laurence Good. Larry had 5 children; 3 sons, Philip who died at age 7; Jay Good and Paul Good; 2 daughters Jenny and Heidi. Ellie was married to Larry for 3 years before he died.

Ellie is survived by 17 Grandchildren and 21Great- Grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Apart from Ellie's love of nursing, she was an avid knitter. Her prayer shawls have been blessed and given to many individuals in several states. Her other love interest was

swimming. She loved the ocean and was happiest when she was either swimming in it or just sitting by the shore with her cup of coffee.

Services will be held at Calvary Temple Assembly of God on June 10, 2026 at 10:00 am, 4321 North Main Street, Fall River, MA.
