Elizabeth D. Wallin

Elizabeth D. (Hayes) Wallin, 75, of Portsmouth, RI, died Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital, in Providence, RI. She was the wife of C. Roger Wallin.Born on March 8, 1941 in Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late Sgt. (RCAF) Ronald and Jeanne (Owens) Hayes.Elizabeth graduated from high school in New Orleans Louisiana and attended the Norfolk, VA College of William and Mary. She worked as a Bank Teller at the Middletown and Tiverton branches of the former Industrial National Bank and later as an administrative assistant in Providence. She was later employed by several local contractors to support NUWC as an administrative assistant. Elizabeth also acted on stage at the Little Theater in Norfolk, VA and the L'Petite Theater in New Orleans.Besides her husband of 54 years, she is survived by her children, K. Erik Wallin and his wife Carolyn, of Charlestown, RI, and Karen E. Bagley and her husband John, of Portsmouth, RI, her grandsons, K. Peter Wallin, Thomas O. Wallin, R. Timothy Wallin and John Bagley Jr. of.Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016, from 4-7pm in Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.Her burial will be private.In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Portsmouth Volunteer Fire Department Rescue Wagon Fund, P.O.
