Emily Lacerda, 90, of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully at home, on Friday October 5, 2018.
Emily was born, April 19, 1928, in Portsmouth, RI to Manuel Mello and Emilia (Garcia) Mello
She was married to the late Joseph Lacerda for 53 years.
Emily is survived by her children; Mary Taylor and her husband Michael of Portsmouth, RI, Manuel Lacerda and his wife Michelle of Virginia and Joseph Lacerda and his wife Judy of Massachusetts. She is also survived by six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by Joseph Lacerda, and her parents Manuel and Emilia Mello.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
