Faith Elaine Kilrow

Faith Elaine Kilrow, 89, of 17 Rosedale Terrace in Middletown, RI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the John Clarke Retirement Home. She was the loving wife of the late John "Johnny" MacKinnon Kilrow. She was born on February 13, 1928 in Boston, MA.As a child, she grew up in Weymouth, MA, working as a young lady at the Stetson Shoe Factory in Weymouth achieving the role of production expediter. After marrying her beloved Johnny, she took on her proudest roles, those of a "Navy Wife" and stay-at-home mother. In 1973, in a quest for spending money for her son at college, she began what turned into a 20 plus year career at McDonald's restaurants. She worked at the old store on West Main Road and at the store at Naval Base Newport, where she brightened the days of all she met and made numerous life-long friendships.Faith was predeceased by her husband in 1994 and is survived by a son, John M. Kilrow and his wife, Lisa (Bailey), of Denver, CO; a daughter, Bonnie Jean (Kilrow) Thibeault and her husband, Andy, of Middletown, RI; her grandchildren, Lauren Bailey (Kilrow) Wood and her husband, Jason, and Shannon Bailey Kilrow, both of Denver, CO; Andrew John Thibeault and Theodore Robert Thibeault of Middletown, RI, and a great granddaughter, Claire MacKinnon Wood, born January 9, 2018, in Denver, CO.Faith will always be remembered as a friendly person who would start a conversation with anyone. She just loved people. Her outgoing personality and genuine concern for others was always present. She also had a very quick wit. Faith was a great source of guidance and love for her family. She was comforted in her later years by her cat, Angelle, and by the care of those at the John Clarke Retirement Center in Middletown.
