Frances Parsons

Frances Hedges Parsons, 68, of 25 Ledge Road Jamestown, RI formerly of Farmington, CT, died Friday, March 29, 2002 at home. She was the wife of John Bradford Parsons. Born in Montclair, NJ on May 22, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Frances Breadon Hedges.Mrs. Parsons was a member of the Conanicut Yacht Club in Jamestown, and was a Secretary of the Jamestown Garden Club. She was also a former Vice President of the Farmington Garden Club. Mrs. Parsons grandfather Sam Breadon was formerly the owner of the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Club. Besides her husband she is survived by three sons John Bradford Parsons Jr. of University Park, TX, Robert Hedges Parsons of Darien, CT, and Peter Selinger Parsons of Medfield, MA, two sisters Julie Rohrer of Andes, NY, and Catherine Barker of Salisbury, MD, and seven grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2002, at 11:00 AM in the St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 87 Narragansett Avenue, Jamestown, RI. Burial will be private.
