Frank Amidy Bonin, Jr, 71, of Jacksonville, FL died unexpectedly on Friday, July 31, 2015 at Gooseberry Beach in Newport, RI. He was the husband of Lavonda Varnes (Crosby) Bonin.Born June 21, 1944 in Worcester, MA, he was the son of Charlotte Louise Gates and Frank Amidy Bonin, Sr. Frank was a truck driver for 24 years. He was most proud of being a car hauler for over 15 of those years. He graduated in the top of his class from St. Andrews in Barrington, RI and was captain of the basketball team.He is survived by his wife of 43 years, his 2 daughters: Larissa Marie Baker (Chris) and Yvette Suzanne (Suzie) Pinciaro (Bryan), 1 son, Leslie Scott Wilkinson, Sr. (Angie), his 91 years young mother, 1 sister Louise Morse (Ronald), 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren (Plus one on the way), and several nieces and nephews.Preceded in death are 1 grandson Leslie Scott Wilkinson, Jr. (Scotty) and 1 sister Edith Hutchinson, along with other family members.Services are private.
