George Lucien Dion

George Lucien Dion, 98, of Middletown died Sunday, November 20, 2016 at John Clarke Health Care Center Middletown, RI. He was the husband of the late Ella (Denault) Dion for 48 years.Born on September 30, 1918 in Lowell, MA, he was the son of the late Rodolphe and Clara (Levy) Dion. Mr. Dion served in the Army during World War II. He was a kettle operator for Reicholds Chemicals for 10 years.He is survived by his children, Paul Dion and his wife Marie of Middletown, RI, and Claire Toupin and her husband Raymond of Dracut, MA, his grandchildren, Geralyn Ducady and Angela Dion, five great grandchildren Corey Ridolfi, Tanya Ridolfi, Jesse Ridolfi, Joshua Ridolfi, Leona Ducady and five great-great grandchildren.He was the brother of his late nine siblings and his granddaughter Michelle Carlton.At his request all services are private.
