Gloria Evangeline Goulet

Mrs. Gloria E. (Enos) Goulet, age 92, formerly of Greene Lane, Newport, died on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. She was the wife of the late Joseph Bertrand Goulet. Gloria was born in Newport, RI to the late Harry Enos and Grace (Lewis) Ringrose.

Gloria worked as an office manager for Acacia Mutual Life Insurance Company and Financial Group in Newport, until her retirement in the early 1990s. She was a graduate of the Life Office Management Institute of New York.

She was a longtime communicant of St. Josephs Church and a member of their Rosary and Altar Society. Gloria was also a member of the Blind Veterans Auxiliary, the DAV Auxiliary, the Navy League, as well as the Preservation Society of Newport County, Friends of the Waterfront, Rose Island Lighthouse Foundation, and th Point Association. She was also a member of the Shake A Leg Foundation and the Providence College Alumni Association, as well as a regular volunteer at the Maher Center.

Gloria is survived by her sister Jacqueline Grant of Oregon, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Isabella Cesario and Valerie Woods.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am St. Josephs Church, Broadway, Newport.
