Gloria Marie "Glo" Silvia, age 57, of 55 Park Holm, Newport, died suddenly on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. Gloria was born in Newport to Joseph P. Silvia and Josephine (White) Silvia.She enjoyed being outside with friends and spending leisure time at Newport Grand.She leaves behind her daughter Erica Lee Silvia and her son Robert Joseph Silvia, her companion Robert Atwood, her brothers Michael Sivlia of Boston, Joseph Silvia of Chicago, Ronald and Donald Silvia of Newport, and her sisters Beverly Gonsalves of Middletown, Jean Evans and Sandra Griffin of Newport, and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and her beloved cat Ani, and many great friends.She was preceded in death by a brother Robert Silvia.Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 15 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to support the family through https://www.gofundme.com/gloria-silvia-memorial-fund
