Gordon "Squeaky" Squires

Gordon "Squeaky" Myron Squires, age 78, of Fall River, MA died Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. Mr. Squires was born August 8, 1939 in Milford, CT, the son of the late Myron and the late Grace (Wheeler) Squires. He was the husband of Sheryl (Flowers) Squires. Squeaky served honorably in the US Air Force for 20 years, retiring as a Technical Sergeant. He was an avid Red Sox and Nascar fan, loved reading the newspaper and working on his cars. He most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.He is survived by his wife, Sheryl (Flowers) Squires, his Step Son, Joseph Flowers of Middletown, RI, his step daughter, Amanda Cortorreal of Cranston, RI, his grandchildren, and his pet cat Tommy.His services are private.Memorial donations in his memory may be made out to the Memorial Funeral Home and mailed to the attention of Beth Irvin, 1 Washington Street, Newport, RI 02840.
