Grace Leona Tuttle

Grace Leona Flanders Tuttle, 80, of 46 Harvey Road Middletown, died Friday, April 26, 2002 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late William Earl Tuttle. Born in Hillsboro, NH on September 27, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Carleton W. and Mary Whitney Flanders. Mrs. Tuttle was a homemaker. Mrs. Tuttle was a member of the V.F.W. Auxillary Post 122 in Warren, RI, and was Past President, past District President and was a past State Historian. Mrs. Tuttle was an avid Bingo player. She had been a volunteer for the American International Little League. She is survived by four sons, Peter A. Tuttle, William Tuttle Jr., Donald J. Sullivan of Middletown, RI and Michael A. Tuttle of Rocky Hill, CT, 3 daughters Grace L. Homen of Middletown, RI, Jane M. Clarke of Portsmouth, RI, Barbara Fales of Antrim, NH, 2 sisters Ruth Feeney of Bristol, CT, Edith Clark of Littleton, NH, 17 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. She was sister of the late Howard Flanders and Warren FlandersHer funeral will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.
