Harold A. Dennis

Dennis, Harold A., 93, of Bristol, passed away peacefully at the home of his daughter Jayne Dennis and son-in-law Jeffrey Skillings. He was the loving husband of the late Doris C. Dennis. Born in Bristol, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (King) Dennis.Harold was a proud World War II veteran, an aviation cadet in the Army Air Corps.Harold was the successful founder and owner of Dennis Machine Co. in Bristol for many years. He gave many people the opportunity to develop and advance in their chosen trade.Harold loved to travel and visited many countries throughout his lifetime. He and his wife Doris shared a passion for exploring new places.In addition to his daughter Jayne and her husband Jeffrey, Harold is survived his daughters Janice Vorro formerly of Bristol Cynthia Perry and her husband William of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. Harold is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.A Mass of Christion Burial will be celebrated on October 21 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI. Burial will be private at the Veterans' Cemetery in Exeter, RI.
