Jack J. Michael, 64 of Middletown and a lifelong Newporter died March 2, 2018 in Newport Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia (Quattrucci) Michael.Born in Acushnet, MA, he was the son of the late James Michael and Jean (Platt) MichaelJack worked for many years as a Master Pipefitter 1. He had a love for local sports including the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics. He loved spending time with his nieces, family and close friends. He enjoyed listening to music and also his daily Ocean Drive rides.Besides his wife of 27 years, he leaves his brothers and sisters, Det. Theodore Michael, Providence Police and his wife Aileen, Kerri Michael, Matthew Michael and Zoe Michael and his stepmother Ronnie Michael. He also is survived by his brothers and sisters in law, Barbara Koziara (Jim), Carol Pascoe (Rick), Robert Quattrucci (Cindy) , Aldo Quattrucci, Donna Lunney (Mike) and Mary Callahan (Steve) as well as his nieces and nephews, Skyler, Kate, Jill and Addison Michael, Scott Koziara, Jillian Lunney, and his God Daughter Mikaela Peterson.He was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law Aldo and Louise Quattrucci and his nephew Justin Koziara.Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, followed by his funeral service at 11:00AM in the funeral home.Donations may be made to the James L.
