Jacqueline Ferreira

Jacqueline Ferreira, 85, of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, passed away on January 14, 2026, supported by her loving family at La Marea Senior Living in Carlsbad, CA.

Jacqueline was born in Fall River, MA to the late Manuel Ferreira and the late Hilda Ferreira.

Jacqueline was married to Robert Brasher for 30 years from 1970-2000.

Jacqueline was an extremely loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and her family was everything to her. She grew up in Portsmouth, RI, raised her family in Old Lyme, CT and enjoyed retirement in Vero Beach, FL. She was a wonderful woman and will be missed by all who knew her.

Jacqueline is survived by her brothers Larry Ferreira and his wife Doris of Bristol, RI, Manuel Ron Ferreira and his wife Linda of Tiverton, RI, as well as her children, Gregory Brasher and his wife Beth of Carlsbad, CA, Matthew Brasher and his wife Virginia of South Lake Tahoe, CA. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Kellan Brasher, Benjamin Brasher, and Natalia Brasher.

Family will be receiving friends from 8:00 am- 8:55 am on Feb. 14th, 2026, in St. Anthony's Church, 2836 East Main Road in Portsmouth, and her Mass of Christian burial will be immediately following at 9:00 am in the Church.

Burial will follow at 10:30 am in St. Patrick's Cemetery, 2233 Robeson Street in Fall River, MA.

Following services, all are invited to continue the celebration of Jacqueline's life at 11:30am at McGovern's Family Restaurant, 310 Shove St., Fall River, MA.
