Above all, James cherished his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sharon Costa, his loving daughters, Cynthia Marie Amaral, Melissa Murphy-Leite and Kerri Murphy-Duarte and his brother Ronald Costa, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents John and Sara Costa, his sisters Dolores Raposa and Lorraine Duarte, his brothers John and Bob Costa, and his late wife Lorraine (Leblanc) Costa.
