James Michael Paiva, 60, of Portsmouth passed away. Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Newport Hospital. Born in Newport, he was the son of the late James and Shirley A. (Watts) Paiva. He leaves his children James M. Paiva Jr. of Newport, and Jessica Paiva of Portsmouth, his grandchildren Melissa Riley-Paiva, James M. Paiva III, Justin J. Paiva, Olivia L.C. Vega, Adrianna C.M. Vega, Derek A. Lloyd Jr and Dayjah E.R. Lloyd. James is also survived by his sister and brothers, Kim Bernard, Joseph Estrella, Mark Estrella and Edward Robinson as well as several nieces and nephews.He was the brother of the late Michelle Estrella.Burial will be private
