Jeanette Gloria (Napier) Cerce, age 68, of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, passed away on December 21, 2018 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA.
Jeanette was born in Fall River, MA, on September 11, 1950, to the late William Napier and late Martha (MacDonald) Napier. Jeanette was the loving wife of Douglas S. Cerce, Sr.
Jeanette held many jobs in customer service over the years, most recently at Hodges Badge in Portsmouth. In her spare time, she loved spending time with her friends and family.
Besides her husband, Jeanette is survived by her two sons James W. Cerce and his wife Jennifer of Portsmouth, and Douglas S. Cerce, Jr. and his wife Gina of Johnston, RI, her brothers Arthur, William, and Doug Napier, her sister Charlotte Michaud, her three grandchildren Jessica, Andrew, and Alexander Cerce, and her step granddaughter Cara Mathews and her daughter, Gianna.
She was preceded in death by her brother Alec Napier and sisters Martha Gold, Margaret Zientek, and Virginia Reardon.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019, from 2-5PM, in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road in Portsmouth, followed by a memorial service at 5:00PM in the funeral home.
