- Jeanne M. DuBourdieu McKenna, 65, of 2 Cedar Avenue Middletown, formerly of 12 Continental Drive, Middletown, died Thursday, June 27, 2002 at New England Medical Center Boston, MA.She was the wife of the late James Michael McKenna. Born in Dexter, ME on February 5, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Albert Ross and Dorothy M. Upton DuBourdieu.Mrs. McKenna worked for 33 years at the Naval Underwater Systems Center until her retirement in 1992. She was a graduate of the University of New Hampshire class of 1959. She was active in volunteer work on the island. She was a communicant of St. Lucys Church and she loved to read and travel. She is survived by her brother in law Lieutenant John J. McKenna Newport Police Department Retired of Portsmouth, RI, her sister in law Arlene A. McKenna of Portsmouth, RI, three nephews Sargeant Michael G. McKenna Newport Police Department of Portsmouth, RI, Mounted Patrolman John R. McKenna Providence Police Department of Portsmouth, RI, and Stephen T. McKenna of Stratford, CT. She was the sister of the late John Ross DuBourdieu. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at 8:00 AM from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 AM in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown.
