Jeffrey B. McKee passed away on October 20, 2026 at the age of 69. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend who will be remembered for his strong-will.
Before retiring, Jeff worked as a cabinet maker for Kirby-Perkins Construction, where he took great pride in his craftsmanship. His work was more than a job; it was something he was passionate about. He cared about the details and found satisfaction in creating something with his own hands.
Outside of work, Jeff's greatest passion was Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Whether riding or working on them, they were a big part of his life. In his younger years, he was also a talented athlete, competing in several sports, including basketball and baseball.
Jeff's life was not without its challenges. His resilience through it all was one of his greatest strengths. For many years, he devoted himself to caring for his mother, Teresa McKee. His commitment to her demonstrated a quiet strength and a willingness to be there for the people he loved, even when life was difficult.
Above all, Jeff loved his family. He leaves behind his daughter, Kerri Durland, Son-in-law Mattew Durland and his beloved granddaughters, Harper and Piper, who brought a special kind of happiness into his life. One of his greatest joys was having the opportunity to spend time with his granddaughters. Seeing them brought him so much happiness. He loved them deeply, and the memories they made together will remain a lasting part of their lives.
Jeff also leaves behind his brother, William R. McKee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Teresa McKee and William J. McKee, Jr.
Jeff will be remembered as a hardworking man who took pride in what he did, a man who persevered through life's hardships, and a father and grandfather whose love ran deep. His life was defined not by the difficulties he faced, but by his ability to keep going, his dedication to those he cared for, and the pride he took in the things he built and the people he loved.
Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy lives on in the craftsmanship he left behind, and the memories shared with his family.
May he rest in peace, forever remembered and always loved.
