With profound joy and deep appreciation for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Jennifer Matais, who departed this world on January 22, 2026. Born on February 11, 1970. Jennifer graced our lives with her kindness, and unwavering spirit.

Jennifer is survived by her beloved daughter, her grandchildren, her cherished brother, and cherished sister. Together, they will carry on her legacy of love, laughter, and compassion.

In a celebration of her vibrant life, a Memorial Service will be held at the Memorial Funeral Home 375 Broadway Newport RI 02840 on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to join us in honoring Jennifer's memory and sharing stories that reflect the joy she brought to all who knew her.

As we gather to celebrate Jennifer's extraordinary journey, we invite all who knew and loved her to reminisce and uplift one another in joyous remembrance. Her spirit will forever remain in our hearts.

Jennifer was preceded in death by: Her Father Joseph Matais and Mother Nancy Matais.
