Joan Eileen Goff

Middletown, RI - Joan Eileen (Ferry) Goff, 80, of Middletown, died Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late Ronald Goff. Born in New Britian, CT on June 26, 1934, she was the daughter of the late William and Yolanda J. (Gavioli) Ferry. Joan worked as a housekeeper for the Seaview hotel for many years. She loved music and she loved to sing, but Joan loved nothing more than the time she spent with her family. She is survived by her children, Arthur Bernard and Peter Bernard of Middletown, RI, Michael Bernard of Portsmouth, RI, Sharon Dupree of Middletown, RI, Mary Bernard of Fall River, MA and Regina Rice of Middletown, RI, six grandchildren, John Wooldridge, Ricky Bernard, Allan Bernard, Anthony Massey and Karyn Burke, her sister Patricia Whitehurst of Newport, RI and eight great grandchildren.She was the sister of the late William Ferry, Barbara Gagner and Josephine Carroll Her funeral will be held on Friday, July 18, at 9am, in Jesus Savior Church, 1 Vernon Avenue, Newport.
